Wine Cooler / Wine Chiller / Wine Fridge

Also known as a wine fridge or wine cellar, this product is ideal for both homes and businesses. With many modern properties not having a designated cellar, wine storage is often a simple rack, or your standard refrigerator. However, the optimum temperature to store wine is not room temperature, nor 2°C to 4°C as in a refrigerator. Long-term storage of white wine should be at a steady temperature of between 10C and 12C, and for red wine at about 15°C. With the modern taste for good quality wine, a specifically designed wine cooler is both a practical storage unit and a modern design feature in any property.

Our wine coolers come in many shapes and sizes and all have thermostatic controls. Several have multiple climatic zones. For example we now supply a 21 bottle wine cooler with a single temperature zone, alongside a dual-climate version.

There are two distinctly different types of technology behind our chillers: thermoelectric and compressor. Thermoelectric systems are quieter and not as high powered as the compressor units. Therefore, many of our small to medium-sized coolers use thermoelectric cooling systems, whereas the larger units and beer fridges we supply use compressors. The thermoelectric units we stock generally go down to around 8°C or 9°C and operate as high as 18°C, whereas our compressor based wine coolers tend to cool to as low as 4°C or 5°C, dependant on model.
